All Deviations

She waited on her window sill, gazing at the jolly sickle moon. Teppy returned the favor and smiled back at sparkling velvet sky.

Then a black cat crept closer to her from amongst the bushed. It’s red-rose paws nimbly landed beside her. It arched its back as it rubbed again her sides for attention. Teppy complied with a scratch behind the ears. Then she supped the feline’s delicate face; in return the cat’s shining claret eyes imitated her gaze. “This is all cute and fun, but can I see you?” she smiled.

The cat’s wet sandpaper tongue licked her nose in answer, causing Teppy to close her eyes. She didn’t open her eyes as she felt a pair of lips replace a cat’s muzzle. Finally fluttering her eyes open, she smiled at the Who boy in front of her.

“Hey Maxx? Since this is the first time, in a long time, that were actually together, maybe we should something special.” Teppy had been waiting so long just to be with him, without the worries of problems. Now was the one night that the were brought together not by a horrible reason. They were together simply because they couldn’t stand being without the other’s presence close by.

“You’re right,” Maxx agreed, as he dawned on the fact, “And I have just the idea” He smiled coyly.

Teppy narrowed her eyes, but resisted the urge of a creeping grin. “I’m not going to be chased by a monster, am I?” she questioned with a hint of humor. In the forest, there was still some place where dangerous animals could be.

“I’m the only monster that’s going to chase you,” he replied lightly, but Teppy could see the slight sorrow in his eyes.

“Then I would give up that chase in a heart beat,” she sincerely responded as she held his hand into her own.

She gave his finger a soft kiss as reassurance. Entwining her fingers with his, she rested her cheek against the back of his hand and smiled at him tenderly. He smiled back in the same way.

“Come on, you said this night was suppose to be special.” he said, leading her away from her home. He was taking the off the beaten path to the forest. Teppy bubbled with anticipation at his surprise.

“Every night I’m with you is special,” she commented back.

“A bit cheesy, but still …” He chuckled. Teppy was happy to get some of his desolated mood out of him.

They walked on with the moonlight showering them in dancing moonbeams. The pathway soon started to slope. Teppy tripped once on a loose tree root, and Maxx, of course, helped her up, keeping a steady hand around her for the remainder of the travel.

“We’re here” he whispered so closely to her ear. The curl of his warm breath stroked her neck slightly. It was only an natural reaction to blush. Her roses only bloomed more upon her cheeks as she looked about the view.

“This is … absolutely amazing …” she breathed.

Over the small slope, there was view of the outskirts Whoville and the forest. The town’s gleaming lights flickering at a distance. The Milky Way scattered across the skies with star glimmering in most dancing rhythm. Unexpectedly, fireflies started peep out from the foliage. They flickered around the young couples.

Teppy was in complete awe. She flopped onto a large twisted root, and burned the wondrous scene into her memory. She needed no more reason to not to cherish such a moment.

Maxx smiled at her, “I take it you like it.”

She only leaned into him, resting against his shoulder. A content sigh fleeted from her lips.

But then her thoughts started to drift. They drifted to something to she wanted to do with Maxx ever since she saw him. She study his profile while he gazed intently at the landscape before them. Her sight settled his lips for a brief moment, and quickly looked way, fixed on their sewn hands instead.

Maxx noticed that she started stroking her thumb against his hand. A sure fire sign that some thing was upsetting her.

“Teppy?” He asked, catching her line of vision.

She gave a woeful sigh. “Maxx, are you afraid to kiss me?” she asked promptly, right to the point.

He hesitated for a moment. The was shadow of doubt and fear that crawled around him. “I-It’s not that… it just I’m worried about--”

“Hurting me” She finished. Her eyes locked on to his, with her face waiting for consent.  “You’re concerned that you could lose control and that you’ll hurt me.” He gave her a defeated expression.

“I don’t want to see you hurt, especially by me,” he explained.

She leaned closer him. “I know you would never hurt me on purpose.” She looked up at him through the shade of her lashes.
“I know that too. But can I really control myself?” He questioned quietly.

“You just need test yourself, and take the risk,” she whispered, “If it’s worth … then move …”

He searched her eyes. For hesitation. Doubts. Fear. It was only filled with patience, willingness, courage, and love.

Then they kissed.

I got in! ^^

The thing with the problems: I just left that to Sandy to take over.

Why I left such a simple ending? I really couldn't think of a better way to end it. (Well, I could, but I don't want to go into details.) Plus it leaves the reader to imagine what happen next. ;D
